Gregory Cannon
Gregory Cannon is gifted in many areas pertaining to music. He was born and raised in Greensboro, Alabama where he lived until he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1991. Gregory, being musically inclined since the age of 8, found that his biggest influence was his uncle, Mr. Aaron Grice, who helped him get his start in music. Uncle "Agee" gave Gregory no choice in following the unofficial "Family Business" of producing music. Gregory Cannon grew up listening to the likes of The Temptations, James Brown, Earth, Wind and Fire, Gladys Knight, and Aretha Franklin just to name a few. Having these influences growing up afforded Gregory the gifting to create a unique "Melting Pot" of music consisting of pop, hip hop, rap, and R&B.
Gregory Cannon's passion for music and distinctive style can be heard throughout his musical offerings. Upon relocating to Atlanta, Gregory Cannon met a record producer by the name of Brian Cosby, not knowing that this meeting would catapult his desire to produce music to the next level. In doing so, GIMA Music was birthed, which stands for "God Is My Answer". Since that time he has continued to enhance his creativity and production skills. Most recently becoming a member of the Some Mystique Music Family, he is focused on his desire to establish himself as a respected member of the recording industry.
